Our Wedding

We want to share with you our wedding pics and thank everyone who helped us with our plans. Even though we've only met a few of the members here, we value all of your advice and assistance.

Rox was the one who led us to our wedding location of Boulder Falls in Colorado. We had a trip that we had to make to Bellingham, Washington and wanted to elope along the way. She also helped out allot with information on the Boulder area and making us feel like we had the perfect place for our wedding.

The trail to the falls is just a quarter mile and not very dificult to walk. We got there the day before to make sure it wasn't going to be dificult in our nice clothes, not to mention we were dying to see it in person!!

No pic neede here. I Love Boulder Falls! We go every time we visit Boulder which is round every 2 years Now i will think of your wedding when i visit.

Did you climb over the Falls (to the right) and explore the canyon?

Colorado is one of those states that you don't need a minisister to get married. In fact, anybody can marry you!!

We wanted a minister. Somebody to make it official and do it right.

Boulder has an office that does wedding licenses for $10. It took us about 20 minutes, but we could have done it faster if we didn't have so much fun talking to the people there. Everyone was very happy that we chose Boulder Falls for our wedding. But when I asked if they get allot of couples that get married there, they all said no. Nobody had heard of anybody else doing it there before.

There are all sorts of online sources to find a minister, but the funny thing is that most never reply to an email. We did get a few replies, but only one was serious about it. She and her husband had never been to the falls, so they went there beforehand and sent us pictures of it. They also told us about the trail in and what to expect.

They made us feel very comfortable with their emails and suggestions, so hired them to perform our wedding.

Her name is the Reverend Trudee White and is at http://weddedbywhite.com if anybody is looking to get married in the Denver area. She charges $165 for her services and her husband, Willie, takes pictures with our camera for free.

After the ceremony, she announced us to those who were there visiting the falls. It was just Steph and I, so everybody else was a tourist out to see the falls. Luckily for us, they gave us plenty of space and seemed to enjoy the ceremony. One lady with a strong French accent was crying during the whole time and taking pics. After it was done, she told Steph that it was the most beautiful wedding she had ever seen.

Willie used Steph's new camera on a tripod to take the wedding pictures. I'll put them all on this post since they are all of the two of us in different poses.
