Well... maybe not quite "we" but it's our second grandaughter and that's close enough
![]() The other one is 3, I've been throwing change and a few ones in her jar every night since she arrived. Guess I need to pick up the pace a little now ![]()

Congrats, Nothing like grandchildren. I am still amazed every time I think how silly I look playing with my 2. Both girls, and the light in my eyes. My 5 year old (the oldest) just called from hem mom's cell phone on her way to school to wish me a happy birthday. I'm sure yours are the smartest ones in the world also. Later, Nat

Thanks guys. I like the bucket idea, the gallon jar fills up every few years and hey a new peck bucket beside my dresser would be a tasteful accoutrement (let's see how far I get with the Bride on this one
)

Diesel,
You might try a water jug, like the ones that go on the dispensers you see in offices. Plastic(light weight), clear(can see when it needs emptying), large opening(for 50 cent pieces), relatively cheap($10-$15), Easy open(just cut the top off with a sawsall, okay maybe not that easy), Almost Impossible to move when full, Large enough for 5 or 10 years. ![]()
