Does anyone out there have a good idea of how to get the sector gear off the upper bolster pivot shaft? We lost steering completely and found that the lower bolster pivot shaft was broken completely through. We have the tractor on blocks, the front tricycle wheels off and the lower bolster shaft off. The worm gear is also out. We have been unable to get the sector off in order to remove the upper bolster pivot shaft. Not lot's of room to work in there and we broke the only gear puller we had that would fit. AND we live at least 2 1/2 hours from anywhere......HELP

I had to rebuild the front of my H a few years back; I took pictures of the arrangement I came up with to pop the sector loose. Check it out here:

You said you broke the only puller you had that would fit; if you still have one that won't fit this might work.

We have the same problem with my farmall 300 . Can't get that sector popper page. Could you direct me on how to get it? Thanks.
