is it a 130 or a 140 farmall

Hi I have a old farmall tractor and im not sure what it is the id tag on the side of the bell housing is wore of with no markings what so ever. My question is how else can I tell what model it is. It has the I h logo on the front grill if that makes any difference but all other badges have been removed any other place to tell the year and make?

Google Farmall 130 photo, then google Farmall 140 photo. The hoods & grilles are different. Probably not many other differences, to tell the truth.

130's were 6v charging systems. 140's had 12v. 140's had upgraded hydraulics.

square cast nose is 140 rounded tin nose is 130/100/super

Awesome it must be a 130 then but its must have been converted to 12 volt at sumpoint. In it life. Thank you

yes i would have to agree it states that a 75 ford 3000 sold new for 5500 and a 75 ford 4000 sold for 3500 new and thats was the first thing i notice i only use that site to get a rought estimate of the year model and hp rating

I wish the tag was on there I didn't know they made 100 so now im trying to figure out if its s 100 or 130 I def. Know its not a 140 thanks for all the help so far everyone!!

there is pretty much no difference between a super a, 100, and 130 if i remeber right the grills where a littler different and the hyd. if you could post a picture of it we might could help you narrow it a little farther down
