Problems with 1945 Farmall A charging system

I found my S/N on the block:

FFA 1 335704

Not sure about the 1 but I think this is right. Can anyone tell me what information I can get from this S/N? Thanks in advance!

You should still find the serial number stamped on the block above the mag or distrubutor which will confirm the year the tractor was built.
