Farmall Super A - grease gun coupler stuck on throw-out bearing zert

So... yeah. I've got little hands, but there are limits. Anyone ever pull this particular stupid before? Any idea of an easy way to fix it? Coupler practically fell onto the fitting - not coming off for love nor money.

You do know that the coupler will loosen if you screw/twist the tip parts? Hard to explain, but the tip is in two parts that turn against each other to loosen/tighten the fingers that grip the zerk fitting.

If the fitting did not take grease the deadheaded pressure will cause a lockup. Can you tip the coupler back and forth sideways? - That will usually pop it off. Often pressure will subside if given a little time, making release easier.

Throw a bucket of cold water on it.

Put the zerk in a vice and clamp lightly, then using pliers on the grease nozzle, rotate the nozzle sideways so it lets go of the zerk.
