Re: FarmTrac Troubles
Bill, the engine in your tractor is Daedong (KIOTI) and the chassis is LS, If you have an LS dealer in your area, check with them, we can ship them UPS to you also if needed. We handle both LS and KIOTI.

Re: FarmTrac Troubles
The hoses you are talking about connect to the drain pan under the evaporator. I assume that they are all in good working order. If conditioned air is getting into the roof compartment, condensation will take place on any of the metal items. That would be mainly moisture laiden on the metal and should not be flowing water. The seals in the evaporator housing
compartment must be leaking causing the condensation. Trac

Re: FarmTrac Troubles
RNF,
Sorry for the long absence. Although little has been heard from me lately, I haven't given up sniffing the trail--doing some background stuff. Long story there! Hope to have a few days in Aug to scratch around a bit.
Matter of fact, the time is nearing when I will be in your neighborhood. We will join forces with Taxpayer and...bad guys will have much to fear.
Like Superfriends? I'll spare the tights but re-double the skills and surly attitude.
Best,

Re: FarmTrac Troubles
Resurrecting this thread! It looks like our rear axle brake camshaft boots are leaking (and they are leaking a stream) from age and weather. We don't think that we had an overpressure problem. The boots have cracks along each of the folds that were created by the motion of applying the brakes. We've gotten new boots from our tractor dealer. Our dealer could fix this but we don't have a trailer to transport the trotor to them. I'm not sure that we are up to doing what longtrman said with the hole drilling to keep the hydraulic fluid level lower. Does anyone have a shop repair manual for this tractor from which they can scan in the pages for how to replace these boots and the specs on torques, special alignments, etc.? We found a manual online for a mere $1,000 (actually $999) but we do not have a mere $1,000 laying around to shell out..........
