Deer Stands

Just finished this yesterday. Built this base in my backyard and hauled it out yesterday and tipped it over. Now it's onto the next phase of the project...walls and ladder..

It looks sharp. How tall is it? Looks like pretty tall using tractor for scale.

We got the hardest part done the stand is up and post are set. Well that may not be the hardest part, the hardest part may be having to wait till deer season to use it.

The legs are 22' long. I used the tractor to pull it over. Yeah I know, I should have taken more pictures of the process. I built the base in my backyard and put it on a 6.5' X 10' trailer and hooked the tractor to the trailer and pulled it about 3/4 mile to it's final location. I had two four wheelers with winches hooked to the opposite side so the base wouldn't slam into the ground when it got past the halfway point when the tractor was pulling it over.

Here is the last one I built. Going to do another for this coming season. I got 200.00 in this one using an older ground blind built about 10 yrs ago. Some new wood and some scavenged.
