Re: Turkeys in my food plot
No, I really don't know why. This time of the year they seem to stay in this large group. I have watched this group get larger every year. They come through this plot. ( this one is close to my house) around the same time every day 7:30 - 8:00 am

Re: Turkeys in my food plot
If I were a betting man...........I would guess that there are ants, or some other type of bug using that corridor. That would explain the 'line-up'.

I've got a bunch like that here, 30-40 birds.
For a while I'd see one with a bag leg. He hopped around on just the good leg and got around just fine.

Re: Turkeys in my food plot
One of the hens in that group has only one leg and seems to get around just fine. I wonder how it stays on roost in a tree with only one leg.
