Millet is really good, we dont ever mess with it, but some of the local clubs do. We hunt in the fields we raise rice in. In the bottoms we hunt where the acorns are. They flood the WMA every year. LUTT

Trying to get ideas on establishing a planted / natural duck hole. I can get 6-12" of water on a 1300' x 200' edge of my west field (app. 5.5 Ac) and a smaller round field app.1.5 acres. with some flooded timber.
Already met with Biologist and they are pushing Moist Soil -natural vegetation- and holding water late. I need to start draw down early to get fields dry enough to plant early beans.
Looking for some good ideas from fellow TBNers

I've always heard wild celery draws ducks in like white on rice. Never planted it myself though.
