Read em... One person says its crap, the next says its the best thing since sliced bread... I'm in fairly light soil, I can weld... I'm ready to add weight to the thing... If it misses the odd weed i can go back with the hand sprayer.... I would think if weight is added and it stays in the ground, it should go through trash just as well as a large disc. Of not so much?

Firms that manufacture ag equipment know the stresses involved.

Add weight to a light weight, angle-iron ATV disc harrow is very likely to produce frame rupture.

People say to add weight. They seldom post about equipment then ruined.

Buy the tool you need or consider NO TILL plot seed which you only need to cover.

You are seeking UNIVERSAL TRUTH. Instead consider your conditions, your budget, your time and make your decision.

Should I ever have to worry about burning the belt out?

Yes you should. Also consider overheating. You have to be prudent.

Note that the ag orientated UTVs have HST transmissions, like tractors, rather than belts.

I guess if i feel its working to hard i can just lift it abit, thats the nice thing about the disc. I like the jack to lift it :)
