We got our plots planted Saturday (October 11). We plant about 16 acres of our 1200 acre lease. I know we are a little late, but I couldn't get enough members together any earlier, and our rifle season opens November 15, so we have about 5 weeks.

Nothing beats good equipment, except maybe the recent rains that just came thru. Good luck with your plots. They should do well.

Planted on October 11, got a good rain on it on October 13, and took these pics on October 23. I see lots of tracks, but I don't see where the deer are eating the wheat or clover yet.

Here's one of my soybean fields at our hunting property. I think it's around 8.8 acres.

This first year to plant deer fields on my little farm. Got into Duck hunting 5 years ago, everybody knows once you do quack you don't go back!
My son and his fiancé like to deer hunt where they are both stationed at Fort Gordon in Augusta, GA and I wanted to fix a place for them when we do the annual family hunt every year.
I bought a old Taylor Pasture Dream off CL, fixed it up and planted deer mix in soybean stubble. Very pleased with the results but still need some tweaking to get it right.
