Looking at a 640 with a loader for 400 dollars, any thing I need to know about them?

He also has this 800 series with selec- o- speed trans and the set of disc for 400.00

ps.. the '800' with sos HAS to be an 801.. rear hubs say so as well.

We went and picked up the tractors to day, got home rite before it started raining on us. A few questions, the 800 series I know has an 871 SOS trans but has no pto, the po told me he swaped in the SOS and he gave me the other trans which I never seen one like it. It's a gear shift but has a control valve for the clutch there are no numbers stamped on the flat,( is there any other places they may have stamped it) I'll post a pic of it when it stopes raining
