Where is all the filers in the SOS trans on an 800 series, also is there and stamped or casting on the engine to tell what size it is, one more thing the tph won't raise is there a filter that I need to clean?

no filter on the 3pt.. if hyds have oil and you burped the pump.. unload valve is likley stuck.

sos filters are internal.. get a manual. ( ps.. it will be an 801, not an 800.. in fact.. more specifically.. 871 or 881 depending on pto usually.. ) 8XX is 172ci

SG this tractor I think was pieced together, the engine is painted olive drab and blue, the SOS has nine layers of paint on it, the diff is yellow and blue, the hood has USAF and then a number that I can't read fully, I have no idea of what engine I have, the casting number CONN6015 and I think G at the end. Is there a a way to put the pto in it, I know it's the 871 SOS trans so can I put a pto out put shaft in it I thinking the diff is an industrial

SG you said to burp the pump you talking about removing the plug at the top of the pump

yes to burping the pump.

as to adding a pto to a sos that has none.. I'm not the guy to ask. go for rickb maybee. I'm really not an sos guy.

if it's a G.. sounds like a 134.

should also likely have a spin on oil filter native i'm thinking.. no adapter...

Check out the 800 today, the engine is a 134, the hydraulics had water in the oil, drained and replaced the oil, bleed the pump and the lift picked all the way up and wouldnt come down, pulled the top cove to find the control valve stuck freed it up and install and check functions, it works now

This tractor reminds me of the old Johnny Cash song ( One Piece at a Time ), parts from several different tractors

i have a 950 ford that was almost a running basket case.. I have parts from 8 other tractors on it.. some of them major components.. .. not just little bolt on parts!

i call it a reverse parts tractor!

One good thing about the Ford tractors most of the parts from different model will fit each other
