8N won't run

1947 8N been doing good till last week. Died while idling. Ran the bat down trying to restart. Charged the bat & tried again. Started a few times but died in less than a minute. Tapped on the carb with a wrench, fired up & ran just fine halfway back to the house. Spent the next few hours getting it 1/8 mi. to get it off the road & into the drive. next day pulled the carb took it apart, plenty of carb cleaner, put it back together. same thing. Took the carb back apart, removed all the orifices and needles, cleaned everthing with carb cleaner & compressed air, put it back togrther. Same thing. Carb & dist. were rebuilt about a year ago. Also replaced plugs, volt reg. & all wiring at the same time. Checked the spark on one plug, looked blue. Good gas flow through the carb for at least 2 min. Good airflow through gas cap. It will start repeatedly, just won't run for more than a couple minutes at most. usually much less. Cleaned the bowl too, not much in it. Batt has a full charg on it. I'm stumped.

at point of sdeath.. check spark.

hotwire the coil as a 2nd check.

if spark stays good and it won't run.

it HAS to be fuel.
