Thanks Chris, I did see their site & checked it out (it is really chock full of good ideas - including parking brakes)! Being that my tractor is diesel, it changes my design needs as little - but I'm beginning to get some ideas sketched out on paper after going back & studying the parts diagram for the 1801D.I haven't had time to try anything out yet. Hope to be picking up the radiator & stand-rod this evening. (i'm ready to get her cranked back up and running)!
Here is the Dowden foot feed kit. Might give you some ideas. Dowden Foot Feed for the NAA/Jubilee/600

Quick update - the new reservoir fits great, It's just tacked together - but it will be welded tight tomorrow. I'm putting a clean-out into the back side, just in case I ever need to get in there. Sight gauges are being installed on both sides, as well as temperature gauge. A hinged opening in main frame will access the fill port. Hope to install boom on Sunday, that may be wishful thinking.

It's slowly getting there.

coming along good!
Thanks SG! I am really beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I finished up reservoir, did a dry fit & installed the intake. I'll post some pics, it turned out to be a happy accident on tank capacity - I had read too quickly hydraulic requirements & mistakenly noted the combined requirements for the reservoir requirements (and added a little extra). So instead of 12 gallons, I've got 22 gallon capacity. It took a lot of thinking to figure out the design, but I'm not complaining now! If anybody needs high capacity tank for 800/801, I think this set-up might be worth checking.
Let me see if I've got them off my phone...

New reservoir, dry fit. Intake is 1 &1/4" black pipe - reduced to 1" straight to 10-12" from pump. I used female connector (cut in half) for intake flange - no store had them in town & it was cheaper than ordering flange. Worked out great. I have to plumb hard return pipe & one hard hydraulic pipe w/8" hydraulic hose connections at loader valve & both sides of pump.

Return for BH will be short & sweet. Fill port, removable access plate will be installed on top, as soon as I have time. Sight gauge and temp gauge will be installed one on each side on reservoir inset. Angle iron brackets will hold things in place & some rubber bumpers will fit underneath. All 10 gauge, except the access cover - it will be 3/8".

A lot of figuring went into maximum volume for the space allowed, it fits well & there's a good inch clearance on sides. 8" clearance above. I can't believe I made such a careless mistake in required capacity, but if all continues to go well - the biggest downside will be the initial fill-up! 21 gallons... (5 of that is inline).
