Tractor
Ford 2000
New to forum. Own a 1956 Ford 600 that I restored and a early model Ford 3000. Lift problems with the 3000 but both are great tractors for their time.

what's wrong with the lift on the 3000?

oring and gasket kit is about 15$ for each of those machines.

post back some info / details of the issues

Where's the hydraulic filter on the 3000's?

We have two things going on with ours. It doesn't come up for a minute or so then it shudders up the flies the rest of the way up. It now has very little control going down. One second it dropping a few inches then it will drop all the way down if you try to lower it another inch.

Thinking it was water in the sump I pulled the plug a little and got a small amount of water to drain. But nothing changed.

My 3400 pto filter is in the rear.. pull the seat and plate under it. The loader filter is in the lower left upright. Theres a plate that unbolts from the bottom.

My fear is it's on the bottom of the tractor somewheres and I'll have to lay in the dirt with the fire ants and the scorpions looking for the thing.

I'll find it. It fact I've probably done this before on this tractor, just forgot where it is.

oh no fear. the hyds filters on a 3000 are all internal baby. :)

and as an added bonus.. slightly hard to get to as well!
