Hey guys, glad I found this site. I just bought an old ford tractor and I am trying to identify the model and year. I was told it was a late 60's Ford 2000, but I'm not too confident. It has a 3 cylinder diesel motor with live PTO and 2-stage clutch (half way in and it stop the transmission, all the way in and it stops the pto). The hood open from the left side with two turn handles. It is a 4 speed with high/lo selector (8 speeds total). It has an interesting emblem on the grill that says "live PTO" and "live clutch".
Just bought new tractor and need help identifying year and model

Sure looks like a Dexta. Look for the serial number on the flange between the clutch housing and the engine, on the left side of the tractor, stamped vertically on the edge of the flange. Then see if it matches any of these numbers.
