Just bought a 62 2000 made in 63. Colors?

Hey all,
I just bought a 2000 series made in 63 according to the model number with a 62 serial #. It's got its original paint which is of course pretty weathered and rough. It has a white hood and fenders with a blue chassis. Most of the pics I can find are all blue. Did the early 2000's come white and blue only to have people paint them all blue later on?

It's a good runner and is going to be used in a garden and to pull a mower so I'm not going all out to restore it but want to spruce it up a bit.

industrials could be buff cream.. but 2000's were blue hoods

2000 would have a blue hood. 4000 would have the light gray hood. Both would have light gray fenders.

I guess what I called white is light grey. The second number in the model number translates to "industrial or agrigultural made after on or after 1963".

pretty common.

anything froma tin swap. to ignorant owner.. to deliberate attempt to misslead.

Even has 2n/early 8n fenders. What are the engine #? who know what else was switched out. 601/2000 rear and Ag front axle.

yep. hard to tell. I have a 2000 that has parts of at least an 00 series and an 01 series on it.
