Default Newbie need help identifying part ford 8n

Not sure what year the tractor is , maybe 1930s ford 8n?Anyway, Im trying to locate part name/ number for the bushing that connects pitman arm to steering rod/link. Please see attached picture, let me know if they are not displaying correctly. This bushing has got my steering all screwed up and puts up a fight when steering. Thanks

Wether or not you can identify the parts you need with this link, you might still find it useful.

I'm sure one of the many 8N folks will be able to help you.

I hate to tell you this.. but that's not a bushing.. it's the rear drag link end dust/grease seal.. and it's NOT causing you any problems with your steering. The presence or absence of the seal will NOT effect steering in any way, shape or form. The drag link pin fits SNUGLY in the sector arm socket. The seal keeps dirt out and makes it last longer.

If your steering is difficult.. decide whether it is your steering box or something up front say, like spindles or bushings that are worn or binding.

Post back if you want to talk about this... or go on the snipe hunt for that 'bushing' to solve your problems.

    Yup.. 8n, year model 47-52.

I see a flat top tranny, so definitely an '8'.
