Hello & WELCOME to TractorByNet.com! :)

I have moved your thread to the Ford Forum. You'll get a better response there. ;)

A six point, 9/16" flex socket with 3/8" drive, a 6" 3/8" drive extension, and ratchet. You may choose to remove the fuel filter, or complete fuel filter assembly to give a little more room. Put at least one of the outer bolts back in and tighten until the back bolt is out.

ditto 100% what rick said.

the back bolt is a beast.. but the ratched, extension and sivel DOES get it done. I opeted to relocate the fuel filter housing a bit :) to make it easier to get a hand in there... but probably could have down it with it in place maybee lost a lil more skin.. or cussed another coule minutes...

they are pure awkward to get at. i usually just leave it out for next time. incase starter ever has to come off again

imho.. leaving the 3rd bolt out is inviting it to break the other 2..
