ford 3000 what year is it??????

i bought a 3000 ford tractor and was told it was a 1977,but now i see they were made from 1965 -1975, the number i found on the bell housing is as follows 210230,then 8C28B then 0199881

It looks like it was made march 28th in 1968 on the day shift.

many thanks,i bought it as a 1977 but a 68 is alright it works out really well

They are great tractors, I had one for 26 years. The power steering was a dream after my old Allis Chalmers.
