Need help Briggs v twin Intek model 406777

I need to know which end of the oil pump shaft goes toward the camshaft? I have already put it back together with the wider blade side toward the camshaft. I just looked at the parts diagram and it looks like it might go the other way. Not real clear. I have called several local shops and they are not sure. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
