I know there are a bunch of guys on here that are dealers and bigger saw users than I am. I bought a 262XP off a friend that wasn't running. It needed new crankshaft seals. I did that and got her running and needing a good carb adjust. So I took it with me to cut yesterday and she was running well enough to heat up and adjust the carb and then just died. Happened to be with the friend who I bought it from and he said it was doing that to him when he had it. I have two ideas for correcting it.
A) get the carb set right
B) get a new exhaust for it, as it seems to be too high backpressure.
Anybody have any other ideas on what could cause this stall when it has heated up?
On a side note anyone have any sources for porting a saw in western PA?
