I inherited my Father-in-law's Lawn General riding mower. It seems that I have replaced almost more parts than not. The good news is that it started right up for the season's first mowing after laying dormant all winter. The bed news is that when I tilted the engine cover open, it fell off completely. The piece that pivots is made of plastic and just fell apart.
I can't find any place that has Lawn General parts; they are apparently out of business. And Murray and MDT doesn't seem to have taken over. (I have seen conflicting information as to which of those companies made the Lawn General.
Any one have any information? Thanks.
