hey, my name is sequoyah and i don't know much about tractors but i have a old ihc number 9 sickle mower i am trying to found out about!

What do you need to know? Those rusty things make good lawn ornaments but are not worth restoring to working order.

what about for parts
and the blade is not rusty at all

Why are they not worth restoring? I am restoring one.


The 9 means it is the 9th model IHC produced, it is the most common model, built from 1939 to 1951. A price if they work and cut would be in the $200-$600 range. If there is Amish folks in the area they will drive the price up as they are always looking for horse drawn equiptment.
