How do you remove rims with tires stuck frozen to axle 36" riding mower?

Remove nuts, spray rust penetraiting spray on hub and studs ,install nuts, leave nuts one or two turns loose, drive around turning side to side to put a side load on wheels.
If this does not work, respray and let set overnight and try driving again. Also heat may help. Good luck!

10 pound hammer does it.

With the key @ 12:00, drill a hole in the wheel and then using a sawsall split the hub down to the key. Drive a wedge into the saw kerf both inboard and outboard. Pull the wheel and on re-assembly apply your favorite grease, never seize compound or oil if that's all you have handy. This one has been running re-assembled like this since 2005.

This is only one example of many ways to accomplish the task and the reason I chose this method is these tools are what I had at the moment to do it with.

If you would rather repair the transaxle, buy a new transaxle or new lawn tractor, force it.

Make a puller.
A bar with 2 holes to match holes in rim and a tap hole in middle to jack with . Should work with a little wd40 or heat.

Depends on what type of wheel/axle.

If it has lug-nuts, this is a good method.

Remove nuts, spray rust penetraiting spray on hub and studs ,install nuts, leave nuts one or two turns loose, drive around turning side to side to put a side load on wheels.
If this does not work, respray and let set overnight and try driving again. Also heat may help. Good luck!

If it is just one center nut, this is good
