I too am considering the Raven hybrid mower/generator. Just called and Lowe's (Oregon) will special order. The best reviews I've found on the Raven is at TodaysMower.com | Research, Compare and Buy the Best Lawn Tractor or Zero Turn For You! . Paul Sikkema (web site guy) owns one and did a very nice review last year after unit was updated. Besides color, I'm trying to find out why the camo version 7100S is $500 bucks more than the other two models. Has to be more than the camo . . .

If you don't mind, please share your contact information for who told you they'd special order for you. I'd like to get my local Lowes to do the same. There is a big lack of dealers for this product. No dealer, no service; which means if you have a part go bad you must ship it to the dealer in order to receive a new part on warranty. By the way, as far as the extra bucks for the camo version, there is no difference between it and the other two colors as far as features in concerned. One problem I've had is finding the red/black version.

Comparing the two, there the website shows a slight difference in weight, length and width and for some reason they say the cheaper version is for hilly land while the other is more recommended for flat land with obstacles, whatever the heck that means.

Heck, if it was a side by side, I'd definitely take a chance on one, three tools on one chassis plus being able to run the UTV on either battery or gasoline.

I think the difference is only the camo. If you download the specs here:

It gives one spec sheet with all three models listed at the top so it looks like the specs are the same for them all

The brochure lists all three as well:

The difference for a camo RTV and the standard orange color is $515. I guess they can just get more money for it.

Which charger did you buy? What is the connector size on the Raven? Its a 5.5mm OD plug, but is the inside of the barrel 2.1mm or 2.5mm?

I just ordered the Red/Black (MPV-7100) from Lowes and awaiting delivery. Looks like they're estimating around 10 days to ship to where I am in Oregon. $4199 + $64.99 (mulching kit) = $4263.99. Plus $79 shipping, but a big 10% coupon for a total of $3916.59. Can't wait!!! :licking:

Follow the directions there to fill in random #'s. It took me a few tries but it worked like a charm.
