I don't think you were looking at a Raven - I think you were looking at a Robin.

That is so cool. The law might be confused since around here locally they do not fuss over lawn mowers on the road very much.

It is easy to spend $3K on a lawn tractor at the John Deere dealership.

But, that does give it a similar price to the larger 26 HP, 54" deck tractors at Lowes/Home Depot, and also more expensive than many of the low end ATVs.

Undoubtedly there would be advantages of the Raven such as it being a lot harder to kill the engine in tall grass. I wonder how easy it is to smoke the deck motors. Do they get hot with heavy mowing?

Everything has its niche. The raven appears to be full of compromises.

What features would be nice for a hybrid ATV? I.E. something that could be used as a field service vehicle.

    Generator... yes.
240V? Might be useful in some situations.
    Winch.
4x4 & rough terrain capabilities. Traction.
Air Pump & 10 to 20 feet of hose.
    Jumper Cables.
    Storage and toolboxes.
    Nice rear hitch, reciever/pin.

Gun mount and ground engaging equipment, such a my 10 inch plow and grader blade, maybe even a mount for a snow blade or a electric snow blower attachment. Mounts should be activate by electric actuaters. Give me time and I'll see what I can do.

They are missing the boat by not having options to trick it out. I think all the add-on's mentioned would sell.
