Wild Parsnip. I think it initially spread along the rural roads from sanders in the winter. The juice contains a photo sensitizer which makes it dangerous to handle. And it grows quickly. I chase it around my tree plantation with bush hog and Roundup.
Problem with quackgrass is that it roots so deeply and the roots spread so fast it's hard to kill with sprays of any kind...the only sure method of removing the roots is to dig up everything...I had it growing in flowerbeds, iris patches, and asparagus patches and the only way to get rid of it was to dig up all vegetation and try to replant the wanted stuff....it doesn't work very well.
