I've had this head maybe a year on a new Echo power head and it's a pain as the string binds up and then snaps off inside the head. When I disassemble the head I can see the string binding underneath the outer layer and I see that there are more layers on the bottom spool groove than on the top groove. I don't know how I would be able to get the .095 line to spool top and bottom evenly and maybe cut down on the line binding. All I get when I do a Google search is 5 star ratings (rantings) on how great this product is. What am I not seeing here. Help me get the line to spool evenly, Please. bjr

Just saw this...

I was having trouble with my Tanka Brain auto feed head at one time.

Turned out to be the replacement line I bought was substandard... it would actually fuse itself together in the spool and break...

Switched line and no more problem.

I also have sprayed one of the dry type lubricants inside the works which helped.
