I have a question regarding LED lights on my Craftsman DLT3000 lawn tractor.
1) Can I just replace the stock headlights with LED bulbs?
2) If I add some LED fog lights that are DC to the tractor can I run them on the same circuit as the stock headlights or will I need to run a separate line and switch from the battery?

I have been wondering the exact same thing.

LED's draw so little current that it would be hard to overcome circuitry.
Unfortunately to put lighting on an equal par you have to convert everything to a common denominator which is generally LUMENS.

Current draw for LED's for a given 'brightness' is something like 10/1. eg a bulb that draw 10amps will be in the range of 1 amp for a LED and give same brightness.

You seem to wish replacing 2 'filament bulbs' with 4 LED's, I'd say YES. (as long as you don't go overboard)

I was concerned because when I idle down my tractor the lights dim. I didn't want this to hurt any leds. I figured I would change out the headlights with led for lower wattage and also connect 2 x 18 watt led fog lights.
