    Default Info on Jacobson GT-16 Wanted

    I am considering buying a used Jacobson GT-16 garden tractor: 16 hp Kohler engine, fel, mower, chains, weights. I don't yet know how old it is. I'd use it mostly for mowing lawn and moving snow, although I would consider at some point getting a tiller or a small brush hog if possible. Anyone have any experience with these? Any words of wisdom on what to look out for on these garden tractors? How easy/difficult is it to get parts? Anything I've missed?

    You may want to check out Yahoo Clubs website at http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/jacobsengardentractors and look for the Jacobsen Club site. This site is concerned with Jacobsen, Ford, Minneapolis Moline, and Oliver garden tractors. All of these were made by Jacobsen.
