Was wondering if the LT 190 is really worth the extra $1200 than the L120? Was qouted a LT190 for $3449 compared to $2199 on L120.

Why do you need an LT and what do you plan to do with it?

I have between 2 to 2.5 acres of grass right now. And I am looking to make more yard in the future. I've been told by individuals and by the deere dealers that if I want a real deere step up to at least the LT160. But I like the electric pto and twin kawasaki in the LT 190. I just have to justify the extra bucks.

I would look at it this way:

how long do you want this investment to last?

Deere will tell you that the LT will last 40% longer
than the L series. The frame on the LT is heavier but the biggest difference is in the engines. The Kawi twin is
"far superior" than the Briggs Intek. (In MHO)
I guess in my mind, a better choice would be the L130 with the Kohler, if you like the L series for the money.

They both should mow very similar, although the L series will come with a standard mulch cover. A mulch "kit" for the LT190 would run a bit extra, about $116. That kit includes a mulch plug, different than the cover on the deck of the L series, and mulching blades.
