Well... I finally finished all the "hard" work on my land. I sold the Kubota and bought a new GT. I needed something to hold up for a few years under somewhat rough conditions until I build my home and finish my lawn. Once all that happens I plan to buy a ZTR.
I bought a Craftsman GT5000 24hp/48" deck. I got it for $1949. I did a lot of looking around this weekend and I really felt this mower was the best bang for the buck. I looked at JD, Cub, Husq, MTD, etc. This tractor has a B&S ELS 24hp w/fuel, oil, air filters. Full pressure lube, 10 ga. deck, 23" tires with bolt on wheels, comfortable seat, electric PTO, 4 gauge wheels and a nose roller, and the all important cupholder!
I used it for about 30 min. before the sun went down and it performed quite well. I guess only time well tell!
