I have a snow plow blade (including undercarriage) which was removed from a 1980 Model 1200 International Harvester Cub Cadet machine, and I would like to know all of the models which this plow will fit. A photo can be seen at http://mysite.verizon.net/edmcc/blade1.jpg .
From the limited research I have done, I believe the Model 1200 machine is classified as having a "Wide Frame". Referring to a table I came across at http://www.ihcubcadet.com/ , all of the following models are listed as having a Wide Frame:
86 - 108 - 109 - 128 - 149 - 169 - 129,
800 Cadet,
1000 - 1200 - 1250 - 1450 - 1650,
482 - 582 - 682 - 782 - 982 .
I am planning on advertising to sell the unit shortly, and I think it will be better to list all of the models that it will fit, otherwise I run the risk of having the unit overlooked by a potential buyer who may know what model machine he owns, but has no clue whether it is wide frame or narrow frame. Obviously, I want to verify that the unit will truly fit any models I list.
My question: Will the blade that fits a Model 1200 fit all of the Cub Cadet Models with Wide Frames as listed above?
