Charlie:

Are you going to the Mrotek auction?

I would love to attend but only if fitted with handcuffs and a neck brace. It will be interesting to see what things sell for.

I'm heading down in the morning to see how it goes, can't stay all day. I'll try to get some pics and figures.

I rode down there tonight to look at his collection, a lot of nice stuff for sure. Wish I had some money to buy a B or that 720 he has.

Charlie:

Look forward to the report. B's are cool. I'm negotiating for one at the moment myself. Self-discipline is not one of my strengths. A trip to that sale would be followed by a trip to the poorhouse for me.

Enjoy the sale. Maybe that 720 will slip through the cracks and end up on your trailer? <G>

Thanks for the report.

That 720 didn't exactly slip through the cracks, did it!?

The D17 was a diesel? It looked like a gasser from the catalog pic, but I could be wrong. Either way, unless it had issues, that's a lot of tractor for $1800.

It looks like most everything sold reasonable but not cheap. That would have been a good sale to pick up a G. Beaters sometimes go for insane prices around here. The CA with cultivators would have tempted me. I'm fond of CA's and happen to have a delicate cultivating job in mind for a rig like that.

It looks like they had a few nice snap couple implements too.

Dad has a CA with Cults, belly sickle and woods mower. Really to big to mow the yard with :) BTW we are missing the rear PTO pulley drive for the sickle mower, have you seen one around? It's a double belt model

But yes they did have a lot of attachments for sure. For some reason he had a lot of S.C. plows (2 and 3 bottom)

Saw a large trailer with 3 AC orange tractors going up the road yesterday (route 33). Probably from this auction.
