Re: Lets see them antique tractors
Not mine, the JD-A is parked out in front of the farm out by the Hwy. a couple of miles away.
At 1 time the farm was about 2 miles wide in places and 6 or 7 miles long. All planted in cotton. City of Tucson bought most of it for the water rights. He mostly grows a little corn and pumpkins for a Howl a ween thing. This year he has planted maybe a 100 acres of cotton.
Lots of old and new tractors and equipment there. Plan on talking to him in the future and take a lot more pictures.

Re: Lets see them antique tractors
Found a sale coming up in September. A central Illinois farmer is selling his collection. He's got 9-10 collectable tractors all up and running, plus a line up of old implements and some horse drawn. There aren't many of the ol' timers left that farm with what he does.

Here's my motley collection.

1954 Massey Harris 33 Gas. Still pulls my hay wagon around. Not too many seen with wide row crop front end. I started to restore her, but will most likely be selling her off soon. Too many projects, too little time!

Re: Lets see them antique tractors
I have a 1952 8N I need to dig some pics up on. Here is my 1968 John deere 4020, probably one of the most popular tractors in its time. I always wanted one and was able to pick this one up for a decent deal. Future plans involve removing the loader, new tires (rear) and paint. Also will be replacing the side covers. It runs great and is strong. I use it mainly for pulling logs, moving dirt and plowing hard ground. I am currently working on purchasing a JD 5020, but haven't been able to convince the farmer to sell it.

Re: Lets see them antique tractors
What about antique tractors and implements? Wouldn't mind seeing some of them.
I think we all can agree that tractors look good in their work clothes and all dressed up for shows.

Re: Lets see them antique tractors
Here's my 1948 Ferguson Ao plow. Two furrows is a little to big for my 20hp Massey so one bottom for working and the other half is a decoration. I restored both plows. The first pic is what it looked like when I got it.
