    Can someone tell me what this is and what approx age. Was buried back in my woods on my property. Son and I dug it out today. Also thinking of restoring , anyone have one finished ?? Thanks

    Looks like some kind of horse drawn cultivator. If there are any amish in your area they could probably tell you what it's for.

    Enjoy the site and that's exactly what frankroberts suggests it is.

    If you GIS horse drawn cultivator you'll see many examples to help for restoring it... except for the horses, of course.

    Can't help you there as you'll need to provide some sort of identifying marks, stamped numbers, etc... but I'd only be using my own 'Google-fu' to assist.

    Lots of wire brushing and located some numbers and paint. Body was green and wheels yellow. Hand gear number was 436 , wheel cap was N17 , also TH stamped on side. Located also numbers K62, 882,995 and looks like 982. Any help appreciated,,thanks,Marv

    I see it as a horse drawn "chisel plow" used for tillage without turning the earth over like a moldboard plow. This is the modern equal ..
