This was my first real truck, built it from a barn fresh 72 F250 that I bought while in school. Had a really healthy 360 FE and C6. Put a lot of miles on that truck. It was uncomfortable and probably got 8mpg, but was a lot of fun LOL

P1010071.JPGP1010068.JPGP1010070.JPGThis is what I'm using. The trailer is a 16' gatormade and the Chevy is a 02 with the 6.0. It does run well but also is thirsty doing it.

Nice trailer denron, how old is it and how's it held up?
It seems the Gatormade trailers constantly get mixed reviews.

Thanks, Yea, I have read the issues that others have had with the Gatormade trailers. I've only had mine about 3 years now so it may be too soon to claim it is any better or worse. It does trailer nice and so far the paint is holding up ok. I can not find fault with the welds or quality of construction. To be honest though it is not used commerically. Just an occasional haul to a friend or family's place. Den.

i wish it was warm enough to be silver lake bound right now :(
You got that right. We are planning our next trip in June. Last year we got caught with reservations at a campground over there and wheat that still needed to come off. Wont have that issue in june!

Well in pa its a little different with the test. If you want a class a cdl to drive a combination over 26k, you have to test in a vehicle as such. Meaning I can't take my one ton pick up and my skidsteer trailer down.

You can if your skidsteer trailer has a high enough GVWR to make your GCWR over 26k.

I dont believe pa distinguishes between commercial and non commercial class a licenses.

PA has both CDL & NCDL class A's.

Very nice, good to see a stick shift still used as a truck. Pretty low trailer, must be easy to load.
