L2000DT I think
Folks,

Just bought this tractor, and I have having a heck of a time trying to figure out what model it is. I think I have narrowed it down to:
L2201DT = L245DT
L2000DT = L225DT

Can't find any model numbers on it anywhere. Engine has the following cast on the block:
Left Side: K2 41 025
Right Side: 1115 cc

Pull the dipstick. If it has the letters "D1101" somewhere along it's length, it's the 24 hp engine and would most likely be a L2201DT, aka L245DT. I owned the 2wd drive version of this tractor and it was a good, reliable machine. My only complaint was it didn't weigh enough. It would lose traction before the engine even thought about bogging down. The 4wd on your tractor should help remedy this to an extent, but I think you'll find it has a lot more hp than required for a tractor this size.

WOW, I have been looking for numbers on this thing since I got it. But sure enough the dip stick has written on it "D1100Z750V1500".

Anybody know what all these numbers mean?

D1100 is the engine model. D1100/1101/1102 all share the same block and bore size, but I assume there are some differences to achieve the desired hp. Best I can tell, the D1100 is associated with the L2000 tractor. The specs are 1115 CC with 22 engine hp, and 20 pto hp. The closest American equivalent is the L225, though it has a D1100-A engine. I bet most L225 parts would bolt on with no problem (except for some of the transmission parts since the American tractor has the 3 speed PTO). My understanding of the difference between standard and "dash a" engines is the rpm limit. The average user will never notice a difference in performance. I have no idea what the other numbers mean. Maybe someone can educate us.

Interesting...the saga continues. I went to the local Kubota deal for new Oil & Air filter for a L225DT, and both did not fit. Maybe I do have a L235.

I always used Napa filters that cross referenced to the Wix 51034. These are supposed to be for a DH1101A engine. Mine was not a "dash a" version, but these fit and worked fine. This is also the filter for the larger D1301 engine. According to the Wix site, the L235 uses the 51068. You can log onto the Wix site and download the dimensions for both of these filters and see which one (if either) will fit your tractor. Interesting enough, the D1100 engine is not included in the lookup table, though there was a Z1100A in the list. I always assumed any of the 1100 series engines used the same filter, but obviously this was incorrect thinking.

That looks a lot like my L2201DT. My seat is different.
The air filter canister looks just like mine and the fuel filter looks the same.The oil filter looks to be the same also but there aren't any real good photos of either.
I order parts and filters for an L245 for mine.
