Ack.....I recently purchased a Gravely 814. Rebuilt the carb, replaced the fuel pump and it ran like a top. Today I was mowing, she started to bog down, I eased up on the throttle. She bogged more and then sounded like a belt snapped. Turns out, it wasnt a belt, it was the rod. I tinker on engines. Is rebuilding a Kohler a do it yourself project? Any ideas on the rod snapping? Its happened twice this year. Earlier on a Briggs. Thanks Travis
