    Default Ariens lights

    First post!

I'm looking to replace headlights on GT20 (Ariens 03114900). What I've found is part is a GE 4414 (or 24478) 18W with only 300 hours life. There's lights with same diameter/socket with better life but, eating 33W or more. Question is: how much watts can I suck from my GT alternator?

    Regards,

about 18 watts from the alt on the unit ....bigger lights will work but you will drain the battery eventually. it will also stress and overheat the alt windings .... you might try a LED setup instead
