Commercial 8
Straying from the Kubota forum to hopefully get some advice. I caught the Gravely bug from a guy that I bought my Landpride mower from. He had a nice collection of vintage Gravelys in great shape. Anyway an opportunity came up for me to purchase a Commercial 8. I haven't seen it yet, but the picture looks in OK shape. Evidently the engine was replaced with a newer Kohler. The engine has it's own gas tank, so the original tank is gone. It has a 30" mower, 48" snow blade and plow. My immediate concern is the lack of a shop manual and questionable parts availability as compared to the L models. I plan on working this machine and restoring as necessary. He's asking $400. Thanks in advance for any advice

Re: Commercial 8
All of the manuals are at oldgravelys.net
All of the parts are available with a few minor exceptions.
Post some pictures. That would help.
$400 sounds like a pretty good deal. It all depends on condition.
