Brought home a ariens model 934001 for mothers day today. Couldn't beat the price of free. Hope to semi restore back to mowing service. My wife does not like the zoomxl54 and she wanted a tractor style. Cut the gas line from carb, dumped some gas down it's throat hooked some cables to it and it fired up for a bit. Plan on checking a few things to make sure it's worth screwing with. Don't know much about it but it looks like a good break from the monotony of MTDs I have been working on.

Fought a new tire on the front, did a quickie on the carb, flushed fuel tank and bought a cap, some new fuel line and filter, greased, pulled air cooling shrouds off of engine to get mice nest out, and changed an idler pulley. About four hours of easy alcohol consuming labor and I mowed with it today. Runs great! hour meter shows 552 hours and once carb was dialed in it was a smooth running powerhouse.
