My Gravely 816S (repowered with P218) was running last summer (pulling tow behind sprayer), not a big load, just driving slow, spraying with hand wand... the motor died, no oil light, no click, no crank, nothing. It was hot out and I walked back to house and got a different Gravely, finished my spraying and then had my wife help me tow the non running unit back to the shop. I just did not have time for a year to take a look at it. The mice had built nests under the hood, made a mess. I took some time last night and pulled the hood off, cleaned out the mouse nest and checked the fuse from the battery to the ignition switch. It was blown. Replaced fuse, turned gas on and cranked it over. It had to crank a bit to get the gas to the motor but then fired right up. It surged bad and I added some Lucas fuel conditioner to the tank (about 1 gallon left in tank from last summer). I ran it around a few minutes, aired up the tires and before I put it away, it was running smooth...
