Who has a Gravely rider? If you have one or more and would like to show us your tractor, post some picture and tell us a little about it. I'll start, I have a 72 Gravely 816 with 16.5 Onan twin, 50" hydro lift deck, 48" snow dozer. I bought it from the first owner and have had it for about a year. It needs new tires and a paint job, but runs very good.

Yes, You are right.. I also have a 8179-G that I've had for years. I'm thinking about getting another before winter if I can find one thats in good shape.

Picked up a 8163-B for a fair price, just need a good cleanup. Everything works, good tires, lifts deck good, PTO works good, drive clutches work good and have been replaced not many hours ago, engine runs sweet with lots of power. I'm very happy with it. The 8163-B has just cut grass all its life.

All of the riders except the two 8000s are equipped with 24hp Onan engines. The one 8000 has a Onan B48 and the other has a CCKA.

I have since added to the herd as well but that is another story.

I installed the front PTO bearing and shaft, engine guard, battery, changed transmission oil, changed hydro lift fluid, degreased transmission case.

That is the coolest Gravely on earth. I would love to just look it over for a few hours and dream about it later. Its very strong looking and pretty at the same time. WOW !!!
