Looks like I have another Aussie TBN'er. We are few and far between. Welcome to TBN.

Hey up here in Queensland we call them grey market alright.

I have one !!

Grey market tractor refers to a tractor that was sold new in another country then imported used into our (any) country for sale.

They are often almost identical to the tractors sold in this country but can have some slight differences.

Dealers don't like them much because they never made any money out of you in the first place but so far I haven't had a problem getting parts etc.

Like the toyota surf 4wd's. Seen them around? - They are a grey import.

Cheers

We down here (from SA) reckon you Queenslanders are a bit backward, but i think you got the last laugh this time. No I have never seen these secondhand imports, but now i think about it i have seen them advertised in the eastern states. I believe many secondhand cars are imported into NZ.

Hi Neil:

Didn't get back here 'til now. The other day you asked what compacts.

Right now a Piper J3 and a T Craft two seat front and rear with stick in both seats.

No balloon chasing though it sounds fun.
