Hello folks
Bought a Hino in really clean condition.
Bought under 600 bucks and only thing wrong was water pump and missing 2nd and reverse gears.
Water was easy, but after draining the transmission and flushing with deisel, found a gear on the input shaft (bottom shaft) with stripped teeth.
Has 1 and 3 and for a bit I can live with it, but how hard is it to change that gear out?
I assume split the tractor, do I have to take the diff apart too?
Is this something over 1000 for a shop to do?
I would like opinions please,
Tom in Roland ok
