Question about a Shibaura SD2200 4X4

Just curious if the tire size and wheel size are correct on the tractor I purchased.


The Rear Tires that came on it when I purchased are 11.2 X 24

The Front Tires that came on it when I purchased are 6.00 X 14


I was told today that if the sizes are not correct that it would tear up the 4 X 4 on this tractor by a tractor dealer. Can anyone enlighten me to this? Thank You in advance.

He did not specify the size I was suppose to have. Just said if they didn't match correctly it would cause problems with the 4 wheel drive system. Seems to work fine to me but I am a Green Horn at this farmimg and tractor Ownership. Thank God for good people like are here that will help people like me.

Jim, from memory the tire size sounds correct. Hard to figure how this guy knows they are the wrong size when he doesn’t know what the right size is [img]/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Thanks Buck... I was hoping I had made a wise choice in a Tractor. I worked and saved for years for this tractor. Maybe we could chat on the phone sometime. You sound very knowledgable on these tractors.
